A little bit about me: I love both teaching and practicing Yoga, giving and receiving a good massage, painting canvases, Japanese Gardening, and all things Chinese Medicine.  I also have a little bit of background (a four year degree) in counseling.
During session, I practice "consciousness based healing," a quantum physics perspective that invites both of us to connect in the sea of consciousness.  During this meeting, we together co-create total wellnes under the guidance of our innate Wisdom.

Credentials: I received my BHS counseling degree (general emphasis) from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2005.  My two year internship included work with mainly the autistic population.  In 2008, I received my 200 hour Hatha Yoga designation (RYT200) through Yoga Alliance.  I began learning Reiki, A Japanese healing system, from a magnificant Reiki Master and became a Reiki Master, as designated by Dr. Usui (Japan).  I continued to study yoga with diverse Anusara teachers such as John Friend, Benita Galvin, Peter Goodman, and Adam Ballanger.  I graduated from Massage School, a 700 hour training program, taking both the State and the National Certification Exam, which additionally adds modalities from Eastern Medicine.  July of 2012 found me pursuing certification in the Body Talk System, an advanced healing modality that combines concepts of Western, Chinese, Ayurvedic, Egyptian, and Quantum technology as taught by Dr. John Veltheim.  Receiving certified Body Talk Practitioner (CBP) as well as turning in all of my Yoga Training hours to Yoga Alliance was exhilarating and fullfilling, as I then received the RYT500 designation.  I am currently (2013) only a few hundred hours short of putting the E in front of that RYT500, denoting that I have had 2,000 hours of teaching experience since receiving my RYT200.  I am also continuing my education in the Body Talk system, with hopes of reaching Advanced CBP in the future.
